As my time in the workforce winds down, I’m at an interesting “time and place”. For example; today I turned down a chance to attend a training workshop, and it was accepted. Without a shrug. No sense putting more useless data into the bank that plans to move away. On the other hand, my historical notes on any number of operational anomalies are of interest to the younger members. Just because I write about food doesn’t mean that I’m hungry… does it? Anyhow, the two small roasts that had me worried (and hurried) over their best before dates are now done. And half eaten. And stored in the refrigerator. With only the boy and me, supper devolved into its most basic form. We can eat greens tomorrow.

What are you looking for? (This before dawn). A Raspberry Pi. Fast forward twelve hours. What are you looking for? A Raspberry Pi. And the second time was no more fruitful than the first. Put aside the puns. Somewhere, in a yet-to-be-uncovered corner, I stored a small computer. Months ago. And now that I’ve promised to loan it to someone else. You guessed it. If it was a “real pie”, I’d put the disappearance down to a late night snack by he who stays awake at night. Electronics, in a plastic case? Not so sure.
