Got milk. Nothing to do with the meme; I simply grabbed the dog as co-pilot and we went to the local store. And got milk. How simple is that? The dog takes these excursions as a highlight in his day. So do I.

Some things are inevitable, even if the fit isn’t ready for prime time. First up, the electric car. In my media feed, an ad for the Chevy Volt. Looks nice, as long as you stay very close to home. Look at all those medals! I (made the mistake) of turning on notifications from Twitter and elsewhere; the iPad dings like an out-of-control teletype machine. Again, look at all those medals! Not just Canada, but we know where the heart lies.

Some confusing news, in the world of online payments. The merchant to the world, aka eBay, has decided to disassociate from PayPal, the money end of the system. I know, they’d already gone through a friendly divorce some time ago, but for people like me there was nothing visible. With fifteen years of experience in letting the two empty my pockets, I had no complaints.

When we left to spend time in the local furniture store, my expectations were simple. I wanted to know what options were available, should the return home reveal a miracle. Something akin to “busted freezer not d.o.a.”. Instead, we now have a new armchair.
