Things I never had the chance to learn, before today. Let’s see: Breakfasts are the best business. People will steal your pancake recipe. Coffee goes well with anything in the morning. All of this, after five minutes with Cora (the breakfast lady).

Even in the quiet times (others call them weekends), I find myself up for early coffee. And a bagel, if there are any left. And early TV. Not much on a Saturday morning, once you get past the age of reason. No matter.

Faced with a forgotten password, my friend Google showed me the back door. I have a love/hate relationship with products from Apple. Let the record show that snow continues to fall. With the record, please append that I am not performing a “happy dance”. Meanwhile, rivers in the area are either flooding or intending to. Exception: somewhere in the Ancienne-Lorette area, where the mayor has installed some large sandbags. The other mayor is now in a frenzy.

Maintenance for the new decade. That’s where you remove the hard drive from your laptop and swap in the other one. The one containing an image file of Win 8; not ready to commit to the new world, but unwilling to be deprived of the updates that could disappear. Seriously. Not highly productive behavior.
