Voluntary responses to important questions

Public officials shouldn’t smirk. There, Mr. Blair from the oh so brave TO force of law and order; I’ve said it. Given your record of dealing with peaceful protest, I should watch my back the next time I’m in your town.

How quaint; talking heads that actually kept my attention for the whole segment. CBC, you’re coming of age.

A zero sum game situation

What did it all mean? After three short days, the deficit is larger and our government has promised to reduce that same deficit. By calculation, we won’t be having another G8/20 next year.

I believed everything she said, until we got lost

Her voice made a believer out of me. The tone rarely varied, but her directions were concise and, to a certain point, worth following.

Flipping a copter

My ISP is a source of mystery. Although he (she, it) delivers a regular source of TCP/IP and keeps our various TV sets busy, the access to client service is never simple.

Short distractions

I don’t have the time for long bursts of talent. Better to take what comes quickly, and America’s Got Talent fits that bill.

Different kinds of sadness

The French foot fans are in shock. After showing the world that their dirty laundry is best refolded in public, the numbers came back into the equation. The national team is history (for this series).

Why not fake out the forces of might?

The fences are in place. Toronto is prepared to emulate Quebec, come next weekend.

I’m not going to be there. The system is prepared; not one shout of protest will be heard by the “deciders”, and come Monday next we’ll have a few bad memories and not much else to show for the publicly funded party. Oh, there’s a paltry billion dollars that will have bought some toys and padded the overtime cheques of a large number of police officers; chump change.
