I’m not a strong believer in the “breakfast is the most important meal of the day” school of nutrition. A quick coffee and off I go to face my world. Except that, if the opportunity to have a good three egg, potato, three meat plate presents itself, why not?

Sitting over by the fire hall, I can’t help but notice that their free wi-fi now has a name that reflects the status. A change made over the last couple of days; are they getting that much traffic here in the parking lot?

We started the day with a hail and farewell to the family, and then set off to the city to repair a reputation. Seems that my domain (the kind that keeps me enthralled) had been delisted.

The plight of the fickle tourist can be summarized: What to do when it rains?
I accept the need for balance in the universe. Hot and cold; wet and dry. Without precipitation, the Green Island becomes the Red Island, replete with dust and a lack of shade. But, when your time is counted, measured, paid for by the minute, there’s a little voice that whines. Why can’t it rain at night, instead of during prime beach season.
