Oil spills and excess dairy delivery
Minor oil spill in the Montreal area last evening, after a freighter went aground. No, the bottom wasn’t rising, and the charts were as accurate as can be expected. Rather, someone has been playing with the level of the Great Lakes again. Keeping cottage owners happy, etc. For the ships that navigate in controlled waters, they have to carry booms to deal with oil that goes astray. Just part of the cost of doing business.
