Intelligent startup

Oh, you’re busy overthinking the situation? Well, carry on, then.  The story of my life; in lieu of doing the things I can, contemplate the details of other things. I’m learning about how to “size” a backup generator, when the installation involves a compressor motor. Esoteric stuff when my time studying engineering amounts to helping a residence mate find the lost beer under the elevator. Engineering students do things like that, and I was just tagging along out of curiosity.

Saw a saw or two today

At an early age, TV taught me that cakes were useful, if you even went to jail. A friend, on the outside, would prepare a tasty plate, filled with creme and a hacksaw blade. After dark, the bars on the window would give way to a few careful strokes of the saw, and you could leap from the window to the back of your faithful steed (always a whistle away).
