Paid photo op

Had an early coffee and bagel, but the energy level never rose high enough to trigger anything interesting for the remainder of the day. Let’s put it down to End of Vacation.

In preparation for my return to an indentured existence, my bus pass now has enough charged units to get me back and forth, for the coming week. That shows intent, should anyone care. I’ll handle the month ahead when it is time.

Had a plan for supper… Some pot roast and associated plate filler. Found the meat, found the pot, found all the rest of my recipe and let it simmer for the rest of the day. Supper time was a success.

Picked up the “other” dog and let her rule through the day. Much too aware of the outside world. The main dog wants to “be” like her, but he’s not as vocal, thankfully.

The map set in the car GPS is now upgraded. Due to the size of the image file, I borrowed a 4GB SD card from the camera bag. It means that a year from now, additional upgrading will be much easier. Memory cards have evolved, and buying something so small is now difficult, even on eBay.

Four years goes by very quickly; today my picture had to be taken for my driver’s permit and health ID. Over to the appropriate government office. Take a number. Wait. Frown sufficiently. Wave goodbye. I don’t think my appearance changed that much, but rules are rules. Still unclear why I have to pay for the bureaucratic requirement, though. $8 as a hidden tax.
