Intense stereo barking

posted in technology |

There’s news, and then there’s news. While the PM was in the broom closet, and the lad from Souris West picked up a shot in the leg, the Island version of Assembly announced that they’re “moving next door” while the renos take place. Only for thirty to sixty months, though.

Closer to here (I’m starting to deprecate the term home), the mayor now moves from room to room with a bodyguard. Just in case. One never can tell. Etc. Important in his own mind…

The video channel (MuchSomething) plays a lot of music that will never make it to my iPod (not that I have one; my choice comes from the generic competition). Tunes aren’t that musical these days. Too much attention to the bling and the poetry that need not be repeated. Where’s the melody? Guess that’s why the record industry is having such a hard time making ends meet. Give me an old-fashioned love song.

Another day of exchanging documents and best wishes with the world of finance. Just get it done, OK? I did find a neat app that allows me to operate our multi-function Epson printer from the tablet, and I am impressed. Easier than the Win version, and I can be upstairs rather than playing exercise time… Up and Down and all around to move paperwork across the country.

Another afternoon of “stereo barking”. Beware, anyone or anything outside, and that means you, squirrel! Hard to concentrate on the TV, when the hairy ones are so INTENSE about life right here.
