My exposure to cinema is limited. I don’t like sitting in closed rooms with hundreds of others, basking in the glow of cellphone screens and inhaling second-hand popcorn odour. After all, my health is important.

Just to show that I do pay a minimum of attention, the Habs won again this evening. Means little, other than to affirm that they aren’t “done”, yet. Many people with an investment in jerseys and tiny flags that mount on the car windows can sleep soundly this evening.

The people who take care of the refuse run in our sector have special rules. Or reasoning. Sometimes they like what I offer up; other times not so much. Some days, they refuse my refuse, and never leave a reason (or excuse).

The talking heads needed more than three hours to tell the tale. This is election day on the Island, and with just about all the counting completed, there will be continuity in the colours. And the Green party entered into the books (historical or otherwise), by placing the “Happy Dentist” into the assembly. All in all, good fun.

It seemed so real! One of the dreams that slides into wakefulness, without the usual “forgot completely what it was about”. My blog had a whole new look. Photographically enhanced, very colourful, ready for the future. But by the time I started an online quest for a better theme, I realized just how tough it might be. There are hundreds and hundreds of efforts by others, and making a decision on what I need will require more than a wish.

I’m finally old enough to stop believing in one of the major myths. Much bigger than any of the ones with benevolent gift bestowers; the bunnies and flying elk. No, I am ready to forego the “big one” which presents the world as an us vs them. Forget the flags, or songs that make people stand (for no rational reason).
