Campers make their own fun. Today, the spectators gathered for multiple loads of laundry. Managed to spend the whole morning, handing out timely advice, drinking coffee cooled by strong breezes and wait for it. Charging various devices.

A possible blue light special

Given the short duration of my extended family’s visit, we decided to trade some quality campground time for the other side. Cottage time. At least an afternoon worth. Pack the car with us, head west and see how the other half live.

Please sing along

Too much time in the car with a dog leads to irrational behavior. Not just a headline from a grocery checkout tabloid. I’m starting to wish the hound had more than two or three needs, or that he would sing along with the radio (some dogs do, I’ve been told).
