Versatile; that’s me. After a deciding to stay for an extra day, we decided not to stay, just like that. It did have something to do with “no room in the inn”, so maybe I’m just quick to react. Almost as valuable a quality as “versatility”.

I’m past the point of no return on my big kit build, and right now I’m a happy lad. You see, I’ve got a working digital display, there is sound and so far I’ve not managed to injure myself. All points in my favour.

Oh the joys of automatic upgrades. Tonight, WordPress jumped a whole version number, and the effort required by me: agree. How simple is that? All in all, this has been a good day. The postal people came through, and when I got home from my usual daytripping, there was a cardboard box on my favourite chair.

Middle of the week; time to find strategies to make the days go faster. I mean, not to push the point, but I did hang a countdown to camping calendar in my cubicle this afternoon. When you can visualize the progression, it serves some visceral need. For those keeping track, I’m in to the seventh last week, and this one is half over. There are two other weeks with four-day weekends, which means that there are only four “real” weeks remaining. And summer hours start at work, which turns Friday afternoon into a calm countdown to the weekend. There, I feel better already.
