Having gone for most of my life without donning the apron of a waiter, I can’t claim to know how staff feel about clients. In the absence of a mentor, we’ve been learning about the various subsystems in the RV via the time tested technique of trial and error. Hopefully, we can reduce the errors while parked close to home, allowing on the road adventure time to be used for better things.

Turns out, my worry was just that. We swapped out some fuses, and the whole waste evacuation system in the RV works as it should. Now if I could only locate my own fuse panel, and see if that kidney silliness will go away.

The dog might be smart enough to figure out which hand is holding a Milkbone, but when faced with two loaded fists, he’s helpless. That’s why we don’t send our pets to the higher seats of governance.

There’s something about a good book. Although I’ve joined the modern era and adopted an electronic reader, there’s still pleasure in the written word… one page at a time. If interrupted, I can set my story aside, take care of the immediate and then return without missing a beat. Try that with a movie in an expensive seat.

I love my local news telecast. Where else would I turn for these three stories, one following the other? Read the rest of this entry »
