I am unable to remember the title, but there’s a book that lists all the regular saints, along with the coincindent date. Useful, in its context. Hopelessly particular, at the same time. There’s been a recent increase in calls from one telemarketing firms. According to the sales pitch, they are worried that my water quality isn’t as good as it could be. Even letting them know that I have a “full five hundred feet of sand as a filter” (not something I’ve verified
doesn’t suffice. They are concerned. Even weht so far as to offer a free first aid kit, although there’s a condition. I have to let them come by and test my water. They have a solution.

Around here, the wind can be relentless. A rare day, when the breeze turns off. And if you have any experience with that sort of wind, you learn that it will pick out the flaws (in construction) that you had missed. We’ve been here for seven years, and there are still moments of surprise.

Twice a year, they (anonymous) try to sneak this clock silliness by me. I see you! Let the record show. Just because most people fail to complain, this “spring ahead, fall back” model of making the average person fight with their stove display should end. Relegated to the archives.
