Silencing the klaxon
The announcement by two federal parties to conclude a pact of non-agression was well received, here at home. The idea that we could avoid the discomfort of elections until the end of the current session fits in well with the principle of fixed term lengths. In this case, it also hits a mute button on the klaxon voice of a particular odious MP. Only last week, he was off to fund raise, waving the banner of him being the “next PM of C”. Not so fast. Here’s a chance for you to sit on your tuffet.
