Just learned a new gesture
So many things depend on contextual clues. I forwarded a photo of myself, in a group, to one of my sons.He was unable to identify me. Context: the photo was more than a half-century old, in shades of gray. And we all had similar hair styles. I recognized me, but I had the “know myself” part. And I was there, on the day in question. Son had none of those advantages. Context.
