Forget compromise
I shouldn’t have mentioned that the students were meeting with the government. Less than 40 hours after the start, the train has derailed. Things are back to confrontation without compromise, and we may be facing a long summer of discontent. Before a winter of discontent. Just so you know. Meanwhile, in the ROC (rest of Canada) university is winding down the academic year. Examination period ended last week, and the final marks will be posted real soon now. Life as it should be.
