Saving to buy an air freshener
Just in time for the long weekend (and the two week vacation that follows), the government has announced the end of funding for CAP sites and Katimavik. The former provided public Internet access across Canada, and the latter showed a generation the value of public service. Not any more. The savings from closing the CAP access should pay for something more important; say, a pine tree shaped air freshener for one of those new jets. And why allow people to work for (almost) free, when you’re “creating jobs for Canadians”. Unfair competition.
