The charm of rapid travel is not lost on me. It’s just not something I practice. All winter long, my bus system gets me to and from the office with only a couple of hours as penalty. Come summer; nothing really changes.

Better a dry tent than something else. One of our family camping rules. The option of packing after a heavy dew did not beat the other option. Under a bright summer sky, with a stiff onshore breeze, we broke camp and bid farewell to the folk of summer.

How do you remember faces from high school? I mean, once you’ve moved on, not while you still answer to the call of the bell. For most of us, the timeworn tradition of the school yearbook is all we have to remember a lot of people.

Back last week, I was involved in the ordering of a new bicycle. And since the plan did not include riding the new purchase over hill and dale to home, a plan was hatched to provide transport. On our car. Of course, the idea of carrying an extra bicycle came without any hardware, and so the dance begins.
