Comparing the quality
Someone (several someone’s, actually) have commented that my recent blog posts and FB references seem to involve the food industry, a lot. Snarky comments, hinting that I eat more often than necessary. I must reply. All the blame should be attached to a certain smart phone. The GPS only notices restaurants. And when we’re inside, after the initial delivery of iced water, I have been known to refuse anything more nutritious. On at least one occasion…
Moving right along. This was another sag wagon day for me. After dropping the avid cyclist at a major waypoint on the trail, the dog and I headed down the road to wait for arrival. Who knew that the trail splits into multiple sections, right there? Yes, all ended well, but there is a potential for losing track.
I decided to check out the fare at Richard’s Seafood (not to be confused with Rick’s Seafood). After finding a way to enter the National Park without the expensive permit (the one I purchased last year and barely used was not a suitable substitute), we parked on the Covehead Wharf and joined the queue.
Of note, the special paging coaster that signals an order as ready. Of more important note, the quality of the food. The order of scallops and fries were the best, bar none, that I’ve had this summer. Even their coleslaw and tartar sauce were first class. We shall return. And for the record, we were able to leave the park without the rangers noting our flagrant criminal behavior.
All along the bay, the cottages are getting better and better (a polite way to say more and more expensive). There’s a lot of extra cash out there.
