Fancy scoop sacks
Although it doesn’t require much for me to go into town, sometimes the reason is important. Running out of dog food and scoop sacks at the same time; need I say more.
Before I go on, I want to note that the dog changed his game last night, and crawled in between us in the tent. A shock, given his aversion to human contact. That has nothing to do with the amazement I felt after seeing the variety of scoop sacks on sale in the food store.
Water service has returned in the park. The showers weren’t overly warm, but they were welcome. And with that, off to town.
I can’t speak for all dog food stores, but all that I’ve visited sell large quantities at consistent price points. I chose randomly, and hope that canine hunger will prove more important than flavour.
My shopping today included the local music store. I didn’t spend much, but the opportunity existed. Finally saw some plastic trombones, and the power supply for my guitar pedal was in stock and now belongs to me.
A last feast of frozen yogurt marked the end of desserts for vacation (probably). The late afternoon provided an excuse to go visiting, before heading off to supper at Gahan House. We were late, the food was later, but the quality was good. The clientele was younger than I expected; in a few weeks they’ll aall be back in school and too broke to dine out. Summer brings out the best in dress class.
No visit to the midway, but I spotted the Ferris wheel on the way out of town. Tomorrow, I’ll be busy packing for the return leg of the summer travels.
