Catch me on the tail end of a long sleepness night, followed by a long sleepless day. Laugh at my nonchalance. I won’t care.

Not so fast food

On the list of things to teach your kids: Going for fast food is a matter of scheduling. In practical terms, trying to buy Thai on a really cold Friday evening is worth a half hour of your time, minimum. Been there, know the drill.

A toe in the water

Right now, I feel like an old (sleepy) dog, trying to learn new tricks. What I really want to do is roll over and snooze, but I’m too proud to give in. You see, sometime last fall, I filled in an online survey form dealing with online learning. Without thinking things through, I committed to “taking an online course”, just because. The system wants me to be poor and short-lived

Day Two of the retirement prep course is over. I’m prepared, in the sense that I now accept, with a sensibility that is Zen, my fate. I will never be as rich or healthy as I could/should be.
