A long overdue purchase

I’m older now, and able to buy some of the little things that would have made sense a long time ago. Case in point: I now own a drum stick bag. Took me just short of four decades to get around to it.

Extended service bumps

This is Day Too (long) of the great inconvenient refrigerator test. Our food stayed outside, all night (in a campground cooler) while we realized that warm milk isn’t really that good. And the telephone call at 08h00 did lead me to think that we would soon be back to business as usual.

With enough time, he could have turned this into a paying gig. It seemed like a sure thing,  until he went the extra few lines in his proof, and realized that his regular job paid better than spending and scratching.

When the time comes to leave

The Lion King put things in perspective. We’re all part of a “circle of life”, and the workplace is subject to the same rules about coming and going.

Buying devotion

Never doubt it, not for a minute. The rich aren’t like you and me. They don’t think of themselves in the same way.
