Hurricane on track

posted in media, politics |

Imagine that! I efilled two cylinders, to the best of my abilities this evening. I mean, the next time my bubbly machine goes flat, I want to be ready. Just in case. Try to explain to a visitor that they will have to wait for water, while I play with a compressed gas cylinder. Not me. Make everything as invisible as the gas, if you will.

The topic of mooch-docking came up, and it would seem that staying cool on a hot day is the biggest issue. We can run our rooftop system, using shore power or the genny or the Titan, but the time is limited. I realize that we’re going to be all done with summer before the issue takes on importance.

The first hurricane of the season is aimed at our nether regions. In fact, it might get exciting in Boston, early this next week.  Here, not so much, but I’ll hold off on any genny oil changes for a few more days. No critical need, and I’d hate to be unable to provide power to the house because I was too keen. Next week, or the week after. We’ll see.

A major exclusion, from the upcoming election debates. Mad Max doesn’t have a seat, because… well, because nobody really cares about what he has to say. Minor player, so no invitation to dance for the public. Maybe next time. Do I feel badly? Hardly.

Rain is falling on the mountain in Greenland. First time for everything.

Jeopardy just completed a week of shooting, with a new host. And just as quickly as a snap question, he’s gone. Might get mentioned in a round, sometime in the future.
