About this time, each day, I try to put down something about my routine that will set it apart from another day. Not always easy, because I do have a mundane existence. There will be no movie version of my life, based on the last couple of years. And so, in the absence of current memorable moments, I have to dig into my trove of memories, from decades past.

My spring sniffles are a distraction. Nothing more. If I sneeze, it dies not mean what it meant a year ago. I am fine. This too shall pass. Yada yada. In fact, getting to sneeze is just me preparing for the summer.

This is a holiday weekend, but not nearly as much fun as it could be. For instance, I am sure that no local restaurant is offering an all you can eat bacon buffet. Do not laugh; I have been to one of those, ages ago. It was advertised as Chinese, but the bacon was the only item I recall. Right now, if I want a plateful of crispy goodness, I will be out of luck. Might find some fish and chips, if any establishment is actually open, but the bacon will have to wait.

Many years have passed since high school. Still, there is a deep mystery associated with English class. As off to those teachers that were willing to spend weeks trying to convince adolescent males that this was even relevant. The people decipher abbreviated names. But, a deeper mystery than even that. Who were the Brontes?
