Commentary optional
Recently, someone asked what was in my bucket list, meaning what is remaining. Impossible to answer. My expectations are modest, and since the relative cost of anything is not something relatable, I don’t actually have one.
Moreover, I work best with a known timeline, and I am at an age where I might have about three decades, or less. Probably less. My health, I think, is good, but since I can’t see to the end of the driveway, what lies beyond is a mystery. I can make an educated guess, because things change slowly in this area, but who knows? Maybe someone has built a monolith. Just over there.
Instead, I spend my time doing things that won’t affect others. When I hunker down with a magnifying glass, there is no effort to burn holes in a page. More like trying to see if there are any important words. Normal stuff. I won’t be heading out on a world tour with my imaginary band, and the singing is rare. That’s how I roll.
Why not ask me questions that I could answer. Things like where I have been and what I remember about minor moments in our share life. I still remember an amazing range of trivia. I could be an education, for someone else.
The family knows where I am, but they have their own quests to follow. I listen for news, to ad to my list of stories. Of course, you are welcome to check out the archives, here. I also have a small library of hand written journals, if you want to know about the good old days. Probably faster to just ask me, because deciphering my hand writing is arduous. I can elaborate on minor points with a colour commentary. Colorblind colour commentary.
