Tests are like simulations
As of right now, the RV is parked in the driveway. At home. Not exactly “boondocking” but the electrical umbilical cord means that testing things is easy. With that noted, today I decided to heat some water. Just a little. On with the mains switch and wait for twenty miniutes (the time required for a hot cup of coffee to cool off). With that, I had hot water in the galley, and another pre-season test completed successfully. I was too keen to stop there, so I tested the outside shower. Not enough to wet myselft; I just wanted to make sure that the fancy blue slinky hose was useful. Unlike other years, no penetrating oil or rubber mallets were employed. Everything connected as if it was designed to be that simple. A good round of tests.
