I have a problem, like many others, with a system that allows people from a partisan group to choose the effective chief of government outside of the election process. The answer is for the request of dissolution and expensive campaigns (the actual polling process is but a fraction of the total money flush): still not clear if the new emperor will do so.

Supposed to ease ailing backs… I’d spend the money, if it would ease the optic that “he’s just standing around instead of working”. Observers can be cruel.
