Big rainy day
Those dry fields, from yesterday? Not any more. It’s been raining for the last twenty hours or so, and we just passed the 115mm measured rainfall mark. Coupled with high winds – the dog flatly refuses to go outside without better incentives. I understand. We didn’t flinch when the lights did so, because the generator kicked in as planned. Not so simple for our neighbour, with a smaller backup system. Our ovens were drafted into service for the afternoon.
