Despite the label
On the counter, a small bunch of bananas… no blackening of the peels, so I don’t have to perform the conversion into banana bread just yet. In fact, maybe I’ll get my daily source of potassium and other stuff, just by eating one. They were bound with a blue and white plastic garland, with the intriguing text “Organic Biologique”. And so, I’ve eaten one, peeled of course, and it tasted just like a “banana”. Which leads me to wonder how much extra I paid for the label.
