A time to sow
Today, I heeded the siren call. After an afternoon of updates and restarts, two of my laptops have climbed Hill Ten on the Microsoft mountain range. Why today? A question of chance, really. While looking for something else, I found the “spare” hard drive that I purchased for just such an occasion. One that was in the state I received it, with my (then) newest laptop. The drive has been reinstalled in the machine, and moved from 7, to 8, to 8.1. Today, 10. The drive is now back in its box, waiting for the next time around.
