Tame the sump
The news coverage of the PM’s wife (or more accurately, her sense of fashion) is a sign of how much the country needs distraction. I’m at ease with dressing everyone in comfortable sweatsuits; if others get a glow from seeing expensive duds, then go for it. But, a spread in Vogue? Didn’t Madonna give us a song and dance routine for that, already?
