Go and fetch a pail of water
Unless they were particularly attentive during visits to museum sites, my children are unfamiliar with School Driving Fountain version One. That was the installation where you put your mouth just below a running faucet. Actually, my own generation had water from a faucet, most of the time. No need to head outside with a bucket and pump the ration for the morning in your classroom. My mother is from an earlier generation, and she would go to a local stream with a bucket and bring back several gallons of cold and clear. Different era.
