Where would we be without each other?
While reading through the list of “video games about to be inducted into the Hall of Fame”, I found myself worrying over whether my all-time favourite had made the cut. It had, a couple of years ago. Tetris. Let the world fall on me, as long as order is maintained.
Saw the list of acts that “will appear at the 2017 FEQ”. Even if I won’t be there, it seems like important news. Upon learning that Gorillaz are among the headliners, I had to ask the real question: how does a virtual band perform in public? Shades of the Archies!!
The dog doesn’t handle change very well. Today, I attached him to the south leash (he has more possibilities for getting time outside than me). After a few minutes, that bark which has a “tone of trepidation”. Yes, he had wrapped the lead around the deck posts, and couldn’t figure out how to backtrack. Where would he be without me? Where would I be without him (probably on a world tour; just saying)? Where would we be without each other?
It’s snowing, it’s snowing. After a winter where my snowshoes stayed in their storage sack, now Nature clues in. Probably be all melted away before I get the urge to wander through the fields. At least I have my memories (of wandering through fields of snow).
And a tiny drumroll, please. The Brits have unleashed Brexit, on themselves. Could this be the winning condition for a referendum to set Scotland free? Will William Wallace Win? I’m watching this one with great interest.
