Lyrical identity
I’m going to have to find more exciting things to do with my day. Right now, I’m starting to identify (closely) with selected lyrics from the music of my youth. An example:

Not only has the light faded, but my energy has been spent, uselessly. Going for groceries should NOT be the hallmark of a day, although the dog finds the process to his taste. Something about the car, the front seat, the radio. Trees going by faster than he could ever run. Sadly, that fits me as well.
I did shop for a chair, online. Trying to see if the model was in stock at a local store. Their online inventory was offline, so I had to call a call center and get the guy who answered to probe the system on my behalf. Hardly cost-effective for the company. Perhaps I’ll shop in person, later this week. After the storm has passed. As if…
There’s always family history to explore. Went after the “who and where” of a particularly connected city family; lots of brothers with nicknames. Makes the whole research thing go quickly, for one generation. Might take a bit longer to go back in time, what with the family name scoring in the “top of the pops” in Island terms. Idle curiosity, as this is not a direct relation (as far as I can tell). You never know, though. Perhaps I’ll discover royalty if I delve long enough.
