Double occupancy

posted in computing, pets |

There. Another of my work problems has been fixed. The school with no telephone service (for ten days) received an unadvertised visit from a phone guy either Friday or this morning. Now the phone system rings through. I am impressed. Or not.

Son #3 returned to school this morning. Early. I had to wait for my shower slot.

The weather is settling into autumn, speedily. 6C at the bus stop, although temperatures mellowed during the afternoon. I won’t swear that I saw kids in parkas, but my eyes aren’t what they used to be.

And now I am starting to feel, well, on edge. I sort of own two houses right now, although the people behind the second address are going to require a major injection of cash, RSN. Found myself consulting the tax pundits to see what the rules of “double occupancy” are. There’s a magical year in there; as long as I sell one, and don’t try to create a mess in two simultaneous locations, I’m good…

After watching a video of a dog (thoroughly) enjoying a “spa day”, it is tempting to try wetting and lathering our hound. Didn’t say I will; I’m not crazy. Or as Sheldon says, “My mother had me tested”. Maybe a garden hose soaking would suffice.

Not much else happening in my world. The bus is on time, the fridge contains (some) food and my hard drives aren’t full. Trying to put my office drive in good order for the next tenant of the cubicle; if I reformat and run, will it seem suspicious?
