Might get loopy

posted in computing, music |

After spending a few minutes on YouTube, watching how others use Loopy on their iDevices, one question must be asked. How do people go to work when there’s so much potential for creation? Someone close (within touching distance) has offered to bring a Mini into my life, and my resistance is dropping. Either the iStuff is radioactive, or the time (and price) is right.

I know… the battery will wear out, and the orchard wants too much data. But the potential! Stay tuned.

We may have dodged a bullet with our washer problem. After researching the “how do you change the gasket on a front-load washer” question in appliance forums, I had to concede; on this one, I am way over my head. Taking apart a major machine, losing one significant screw and facing the wrath of those whose clothes are now dirty and torn leaves me shaking. However (this is the good part) our warranty seems to be still active, and a service guy will stop by in a couple of days. We can tough it out until then, right? And if we save all that money, I might accept that my life is meant to be Loopy.

I’m back into inventory at work. Three different databases, each one containing a view of the big picture (think of an elephant and some blind men). My task is to find out what isn’t true. Should be easy. NOT. I did find the NOS (new original stock) in a locked room, and the stuff that has come home from the schools is starting to make sense. Now for some serious zen.
