Yes, I understand and respect the decorum demanded of parliamentarians. That said, sometimes you just have to call it as you see it. Thank you, Justin.
I’m not alone. The approaching holidays have upset the rhythm at work. Please, no emergencies between now and the end of next week. I’m not sure that our masters would be excited about the outcome.
I’m using YouTube as a learning tool this evening. Discovering new artists. Musical artists; the graphic variety don’t translate well to Flash. So much talent in this world, and I’ll never get to sample more than a droplet. I can blame the “industry” for that. After all, only those who enrich the bottom line are rewarded in this oddball culture. Thanks to the bottomless archive over at YouTube, and the associated links, there’s still hope for discovery.
Just found my son… talk about a needle in the haystack. Unlike some of his previous efforts, this might be around for the occasional listening moment in years to come. Ditto for some of the souls out of Ireland and Scotland who will never cross my path.
I’ve turned off the TV this evening. No more X Factor for me. I don’t get it. American Idol returns in a month, and there will be another round of auditioned madness. I’ll be there, because I believe that the raw material belies the transformed (from later in the season).
A special mention for my latest find: Eleanor McEvoy. Worth a listen.
And a special moment of silence, before I dig out the guitar and work on my thin layer of calloused fingertips.
