Do I need another tee?

posted in health, humour, politics |

My effort to stay currrent about the latest trial in DC has not gone well. All that I could absorb is that drinking bottled water is an underappreciated lifeskill. Guess I’ll have to wait for the reruns on late YouTube.

I now have a better grasp on where the school closures are posted, locally. It doesn’t matter that I’m without any real need to know; it’s instinctive. Around here, snow days matter.

Son #2 has successfully “plated” his first car. I guess this means that I’ll be getting my vanity plate back, in the mail. Different province, different requirements, etc.

And the latest news is that anyone driving north to Canada will have to provide a valid virus test. No, that one you picked up in the Mexican flea market won’t suffice. Sorry you had to spend so many pesos to find that out. What is it with people and public safety. Do they assume this is all one big trap to catch them out. Some of us (here) care about your health. And ours. Here’s the thing. You shouldn’t have gone south, and you shouldn’t return with a contagious infection. Can I make it any clearer?

No matter. I’m staying put. It might be many months before I receive an inoculation, so my best plan is to stay away from you plague-ridden travelers. No airport visits. No restaurant visits. No visits anywhere. Hang tough. This too shall pass.

I see that someone is selling tee-shirts with the logo of my old high school. I am tempted. The memories of getting dressed for gym class. On second thought…
