I have a puzzle. Why are there so many mandarins in the bags we buy? I try to eat several per day, but I can barely keep ahead of a pernicious green mold that attacks the bounty. Should I buy less at a time (hard to control), or do I need reinforcements? I wonder if the dog needs his vitamins? And should I pronounce that work like a Brit (v-it-amins) or like a Yank (v-eye-tamins)? I checked in my dictionary, but I’m not very adept with that IPA code. And Wikipedia has too much information for a simple response.

Actually, since I don’t take my vits from a bottle, how can I tell if I’m getting any? I should have taken more biology courses in school. One is better than none, right?

The latest in crazy bait: why did almost everyone in the nation receive a cheaply printed flyer from someone that thinks life is a huge Sino-conspiracy. Who paid for millions of people to get free birdcage liners? I recognized the “name”, but I still had to explain why it wasn’t truth wrapped up in fiction. A lot of white noise on social media, because most of the silent majority (in Canada) is still capable of rational thinking. No, I’m not going to name the paper, or cross-reference their website. Just check the recycle bins in the neighbourhood. And if that’s not enough…
