A store to explore
The impended weather was really nothing at all; yes, school had a delay and no, it didn’t interfere with our life. Not a bit. By noontime, after reclearing the walk, we put the dog in his favourite travel position and headed for the city. Our list was short.
My CO2 tank is back from its tests. Passed. And now, with a refill completed, it was time to go and recover our goods. I like the shop. It has the right amount of toys to bring me back again, when toys equals high end flashlights, neat first aid kits and a whole are that I need to discover. Not sure what my excuse will be, although there’s always a need for better lights in the toolbox. We’ll see (no pun intended).
Curling coverage continues on TV, and I figured out where the Suzanne Gaudet Birt name can be grafted onto a branch. Need to dig deeper. On another line, I’ve filled in one of my mystical ten-generation charts. Record time for this research, but I admit that the tools have advanced (greatly) over the last couple of decades, plus I have a better skill set to approach things.
I find myself admiring photos of other ham shacks and recording studios. Maybe some proper shelves and desk space would be a good thing (I hate crouching on the floor, more and more). I’ll pick some of the better examples and ask the carpenter for input. If the price is right, who knows how things will evolve. Since I have no plan to do this job twice, it’s good to take all the planning time required.
