That bright light outside; is it normal?

posted in food, pets |

Is this an effect of age, or cable TV? I’m rolling down the local road, minding my own business (and the speed limit). In the rear-view mirror I realize there’s a rather large truck, close at hand. The movie Duel comes to mind…

I went to the store today; twice. Apparently checking to see if there’s anything on the fridge list is expected. We now have eggs.

Brought my sunglasses in from the car. I had asked, nonchalantly, while at the store, if that bright light shining in the sky was exceptional. I guess I should go “outside” more often.

Currently out of cinnamon buns. That means I’m going to have to come up with Plan B for breakfast. Oh, wait. Eggs.

We received a new yogurt incubator today (my old one was ruled obsolete and rejected by the “move planning workgroup”. I don’t have a case of powdered milk any more, so now I have to do a cost  analysis. Real milk (in jugs) versus sacks of powder with user-added water. Should I upgrade my Excel skills, or rely on basic math? The move/return to unsweetened yogurt is healthy, I hope. Sneaking suspicion we won’t save a whole lot of money, after factoring in my time. Did I keep my trusted “bain-marie”, or do I need to go back into the casserole arena sale? Stay tuned.

On TV, stress while a medical team tries to save a dog that ate plants. SInce when do dogs do salads? Mine won’t, even if I hide Milkbones in the bowl.
