More halftime fatigue
Some things are cumulative. Could be there was enough football yesterday, or maybe the coverage of the “Big Game” is more about the “Big Ego” than the “Big Play”. Anyhow, by halftime in the coverage, we haven’t even had the opening kickoff. More than three hours into the broadcast, we come to a pause to remember fallen servicemen in foreign lands, listen to Eva Avila idolize the anthem and watch the ceremonial coindrop – not even legal tender any more.
