The ides of November
Imagine, we’re already almost halfway through the month. In fact, this is the day known as the “Ides”. Now, before you argue that I really mean the fifteenth day, that isn’t strictly true. According to the Roman calendar, three days of each month were important: the Kalends, Nones and Ides. For reasons that require a working knowledge of Latin, the Ides can vary. So there. Take that bit of trivia.
