Some days have nothing remarkable about them. The bus came on time. At work, someone had a virus on their machine. I found an empty CD case that someone had “lifted” from Melo-Mags on Maguire so I played the good citizen and returned it to the shop owner. The bus came on time. The mail had nothing interesting. TV had nothing interesting. Just an ordinary day.

I returned to the hospital today for my pressure check, which turned out as a little low, because my eye had developed a leak. Literally. Never fear, the doctor was near and with her trusty sewing kit she simply did a couple of deft stitches and put some stability back in the tire. Excuse me, eye. It’s getting harder to separate the two ideas…

Here we go. It’s been just over a month since my trabeculectomy (new hole in eyeball). Today I returned for the nth visit, and my Doctor decided to remove a cyst by simply putting a drop of the magic liquid on the eyeball and with a short pointy needle, remove same. Then and there, thank you, see you next week.

My eye surgery is a success, in that I can still see and maintain my “pressure” with a good old mechanical technique.
