Eye on the needlepoint

Here we go. It’s been just over a month since my trabeculectomy (new hole in eyeball). Today I returned for the nth visit, and my Doctor decided to remove a cyst by simply putting a drop of the magic liquid on the eyeball and with a short pointy needle, remove same. Then and there, thank you, see you next week.
It didn’t bother me. I have become so used to that eye being a study in orbit that one more probe with a sharp object seemed almost ordinary…
