Sky games

The Zoomies are back in town. And, just in time, the sugar-water dispenser are hanging. Serendipity.  Yes, it happens each year, but the date is not foxed. We knew they were on the Island, because there are websites that track travel, but until you actually hear them, and watch their acrobatics while they feed,  it is not a given.  Hard to be a small bird in a large world.

On that note, another species was seen near one of the vehicles, and now the  hitchhiker is in the big city, looking for help with a  bum leg or wing.

The  delivery truck was busy, today, and we now have a mysterious big box with the promise of better bandwidth sitting in the living room. I had already seen a video about “unboxing”, so my  need to see inside is satiated. Soon, though, I will have to plant a pole and pull a cable, just to make  our home network into something better. Take note that Bell has promised much and delivered virtually nothing for close to a decade. A fail, on so many levels. And I will gladly wave goodby to  a service that could be so much better, if profit was not their only driving force. Must not rant, because the firm is bad right across the continent.  Old school  capitalism, with a lot of public monies in their vaults.

Fiber on the poles? The provincial government fell for that ruse, several times. My greatest wish would be for the firm to have to suffer their own  levels of service.
