Finding the right word for a situation is really important. For example, I grew up with the knowledge that a garage was a place that you took your car, when you wanted to spend lots of money. However, it seems that other people refer to the east end of our house with that term. I guess. It does have several different doors, and a big gate that can open on command. However, we turned that room into imperfect storage, years ago. Now, it seems that there are plans. If we can get rid of enough of our minor treasures, the room will be used to hide a car from the world at large. Rain and snow, for example. And birds. We are not there, yet.

Rather than digress, let me mention that our quest for more stable web access is making slow progress. Today, the replacement cable for the antenna, and a proper egress, from the house to the outside world. Actually the cable is now attached to the deck, until the next big storm.

The special birds are back. The locator squad simply had to walk on water to find them. I realize these might be different members of the team in a population that is dropping but it brought joy.

When we decided to build our house, here, we had to make sure of a few things. What were the risks from natural disasters. Could we have a driveway. Was there water. That was a big question, with an easy answer. Sure. Lots of it. Not related to the obvious abundance of salt water. We were good, and we got a new house.

Starting off the month with a credit from our new ISP. We are waiting on a cable, and they have waived our monthly fees because we are not let live with them. In sharp contrast, we spent the last decade with a name company that never once met their terms of service while collecting their monies. We pay attention to those details.

The first time I saw a hummingbird, we were in the south of NB. Near the National Park. A place where the boats were aflooat of grounded, twice a day. Very pretty. We were stopped for breakfast, and I was enchanted by the tiny hovering birds. Almost like butterflies.
