My junk mail queue

posted in environment |

Took a break from my Scotties Spectation, in order to go for milk and gas. Mentioned to the storekeep that my days were spent murmuring “Hurry! Hard!” and received an invite to tag along to the local sheets (the rink, redressed) if I wanted. I’m thinking that this season is late, but next fall I might have to test my ability to slide without slipping, if you get my drift.

Happy critter moments, when one of the hares was spotted near the front door, at the same time as one of the squirrels. Predators beware; we watch after our weaker community members. I mean, I don’t know how I’d defend them, but at least we “have their back”. That’s important, right?

Listening in on the reports from the plant floor (this has nothing to do with gardening). Seems that bullying never loses its place… I’m not sure what else I can do, other than provide moral support. Does “have your back” really mean anything?

All of the mail, today, was for others in the house. Just like yesterday. Have I lost my place in the junk mail queue? Should I sign up for some cause or other, and give my real postal address? Pretty hard to fake that one, unlike the email world. You know, where I have as many identities as I’m willing to watch and dump. On the two or three accounts that I’ve already made “public”, keeping the INBOX empty has turned out to be a regular task, much like keeping the recycle bin emptied in the kitchen.
