Repurposed sculpture
This was the kind of day that gets filed under “futile”. I didn’t leave the house. Mainly, I moved from bed to chair to walking around the room, trying to find that one position wearing a “comfortable” tag.
I do have some new friends, though. Ty Lenol and Ad Vil. When swallowed, with a few mils of water, temporary relief from senseless abdominal discomfort may occur.
Enough malingering chatter. The dog likes the attention we accord him, and in return keeps us “in the loop” should a car drive in. Or by. All it requires is a turnaround to fill him with song. Next on my list will be a reduction of the territory he feels responsible for. I’ll start with the simple stuff: “a car that drives on by doesn’t matter”. A keep it simple approach.
Received a new wifi dongle, for the weather computer. My plan is to avoid passing cable from upstairs to downstairs for as long as possible. The weather station doesn’t require huge bandwidth.
I can’t (easily) escape the inane behavior of “the mayor”. Even if I’ve left the neighbourhood. A few decades ago (time passes, OK?), the French government gifted his city with a sculpture/piece of modern art. Superimposed cubes. Nothing elaborate.
I’m not sure why, but the sculpture recently returned to its original state: a pile of dusty rubble. Dismantled under decree from the master of all he surveys.
Here’s the thing. You can always repurpose a pile of blocks. Or hide them behind shrubbery. Or regift… Simple jackhammer justice is actually extreme.
What will be next? That clock by city hall that won’t keep time?
